Christopher Frost Obituary
Published by Legacy on Oct. 14, 2025.
Christopher Michael Frost, known affectionately as Chris to his friends and family, passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on April 27, 1974, in Bay City, MI. Chris's early years were filled with the love and laughter that he would later spread to everyone he met.
Chris was a man of many talents and spent his life mastering skills that ranged from construction to auto mechanics and auto body work. His hands were rarely still, as he was always found tinkering on something mechanical, a testament to his ability to fix just about anything. His work was not just a job but a demonstration of his dedication to craftsmanship and his joy in solving problems.
A lover of the open road, Chris found solace and freedom riding his motorcycle, an activity that brought him immense pleasure and a sense of adventure. He was the heart and soul of family functions, always serving as the grill master, ensuring that gatherings were filled with the aroma of delicious food, cold beer and the warmth of his presence. His laughter and stories were as much a staple at these events as the meals he prepared.
Chris is survived by his stepmother, Laurie Frost; his daughter, Tamara "Mara" (Ryan) Wright; and his grandchildren, Angalina and Madalynne Hosey. His legacy continues through his siblings: Amanda (Anthony) Moss, Angel (Jennifer) Medrano, Monica Medrano, Ramond (Lisa) Medrano, Sarah, Kimberly and Selena Frost, three uncles, one aunt, and numerous cousins, all of whom will miss him dearly. Chris also leaves behind his good friends, Mike, Dave, Will and Mabel, with whom he shared many stories and good times.
Chris was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Robert and Donna Frost; his father, Dennis Frost, Sr.; his mother, Sheila Ann Austin; and his brother, Dennis Frost, Jr. Each of them played a significant role in his life, and their memories will continue to live on through Chris's stories and the values he instilled in his family. Chris had a special place in his heart for his grandmother Donna and spent every opportunity he could with her, taking care of the yard, bringing a smile to her face.
Chris's life was a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of family, and the joy of living each day to the fullest. Spending time with his cousins was always a highlight. His infectious smile and generous spirit will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Though he has left this world, his spirit remains a guiding light to his family and friends, a reminder to cherish the simple moments and to approach life with the same gusto that he did.
As we bid farewell to Christopher Michael Frost, we celebrate the life of a man who was loved by many and whose influence will continue to be felt. His was a life well-lived, full of moments that will be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to share them with him. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
