KINGSPORT – Christopher Lee Fultz, 41, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024.
Christopher was a decorated veteran of the US Army. He was the owner and operator of several area businesses. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, and paternal grandfather.
Christopher is survived by his wife Lois "Gaye" Fultz, of the home; daughter, Emma Fultz, of the home; sons, Mason Fultz, of the home, and Payton Salyer, of Church Hill; grandson, Wendell Salyer; Chris's mother, Sarah Clark (Allen), of Clarksville, TN.; father, Mike Fultz (Gramz), of Church Hill; grandmother, Corina Barrett; mother-in-law, Carol Salyer, of Church Hill; sister, Audrey Fultz, of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Micheal Fultz (Audrey), of West VA; and David Fultz, of Clarksville, TN; special friend, Uncle Ed; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow in procession to Morning Star Cemetery with Pastor Ed McLain officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Church Hill VFW Post #9754.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Christopher's name.

My condolences. I was Chris's father-in-law for a few years. Loved hanging out with him. Spent time with him in Alaska. Took me to the weight room and worked me out. He was so motivated. I think we got a long so famously because we were both Army. I was so proud of him. Thank you for your service Chris. You will be missed. My heart goes out to the family.
