Terry Byrd Obituary
Terry was employed at Tate and Arnold's Small Engines while he was in high school; after graduating from Volunteer High School, he went to work at Flour Daniels as a millwright.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Joyce Byrd and sister, Becky Dean.
Terry is survived by his son, Brandon Byrd; brothers, Scott Byrd and wife Lisa and Marty Byrd; brother-in-law, Mark Dean; Nieces and nephews, Tasha Byrd, David Dillard and Lindsay Owens, Special aunt and uncle, Glenda and Mack Lane; "stepsons", Jason (Angie) Patterson and Eddie "Justin" (Megan) Patterson. Along with several great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Benton Family Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 AM to go in procession.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Johnson – Arrowood Funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
