Christopher Gibbs Obituary

Christopher Gibbs
June 14, 1977 - January 27, 2025
Son of Jennifer Gibbs of Norwalk, CT and Barry Gibbs of Trumbull, CT.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Michael Gibbs who left this world too soon at the age of 47. Chris was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, humor, and talent touched all he knew.
Born in Stamford, CT. Chris graduated from Briggs Vocational High School in 1995. From an early age, he had a natural gift for working with his hands, particularly with cars. A self-taught and skilled auto mechanic, Chris spent his career working at several local auto shops.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Donna and Leland Smith of Stamford, CT and Jeanne and John Gibbs of Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his sisters, Tracey Eckert (husband Brian, daughter Caitlin) and Debra Gibbs (husband Matt Mankovich, son Julian).
He was loved by many and will be missed.
