Chris was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. That's where his love for fishing, hunting, and Nebraska Football grew, a tradition he passed onto his family.
Chris finished a Master's Degree in Business Administration and specialized in Organizational Leadership in 2010. Chris medically retired from USMC after serving 13 years and served another 5 years as a Civilian Operations Officer for USMC.
During that time, Chris was still a loving father and put his family first.
As he told everyone as a greeting or goodbye, "Go Big Red!"

Chris was my cousin. I had not talked or seen Chris in many years. I do remember we had fun as cousins at family get togethers. My deepest sympathies to his wife and sons.

We connected on Facebook and got to get reacquainted there. My heart breaks that his family no longer has him with them yet so happy that his suffering is over.

Chris and I met in junior high when I moved to GI in 1985. We dated during junior high. I will always remember Chris as the sweetest person and loved everyone around him, and so charming! He called me his angel. Prayers and hugs to your family.

Chris and I met in junior when I moved to GI in 1985. We dated in junior high at Walnut middle school. Chris was a special person, so sweet and loved everyone . He called me his angel I know everyone will miss him. Prayers and hugs for your family.
