Christopher Groom Obituary
Chris was born on April 23, 1951, in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Edward and Theresa (Chuhi) Groom and married Elaine Blackburn on August 29, 2008, and she survives.
He graduated from Barberton High School and was previously employed by Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton, Ron Marhoffer Auto Family and Smithville Western Nursing Home.
Chris was a devoted Christian and was a member of St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church in Norton. He enjoyed listening to music, especially rock and roll. He was a true history buff and loved his trips to Gettysburg with Elaine.
Surviving is his wife, Elaine; daughters, Robin Groom and Erin (Ben) Elson; son, Justin Groom; grandchildren, Cayla and Jake; 3 great grandchildren; and brother, Bernie (Trish) Groom.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Groom; and mother, Theresa Groom.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Sorry to see Chris gone he was a funny guy I worked with him picking up or delivering car for a company in Norton. I knew him as groomed.
