Christopher Lee Hedge was born on December 30, 1968 in Topeka, Kansas at the Forbes Air Force Base to Curtis and Lettie Hedge. Chris was 55 years old when he left this earth on Friday, September 6, 2024.
The first few years of his life, it was just him and his mother as his dad was in the service. Chris and his mom spent a lot of time playing with his toy cars and toy trucks. This is where it is believed that Chris found his love for vehicles. His family eventually moved to Longmont, Colorado in February 1972. There Chris attended first through third grade at Lincoln Elementary, he attended fourth through sixth grade at Central Elementary and seventh and eighth grade at Long Peak Junior High. Chris attended high school in Berthoud, Colorado where he graduated in 1987. While attending high school he was enrolled in their automotive class and that is where he really got to play with the big cars and trucks. After high school Chris began to work at the A1 Auto Salvage in Longmont. Colorado. There he became a very well-known automotive tech working side by side with his father. They loved helping each other out and figuring out the issues together on the vehicles and making right for their clients.
Chris was very much in love with Sheila his fiancé. They first met at the salvage yard where he had worked on her vehicle. Chris later went to Safeway Grocery Store where Sheila was employed, and that is where she asked him out on their first date. That first date led them to falling in love and being together for the past four years. Chris also had a very big love for his cats, Molly, Holly and Lefty. Those cats loved him just as much as he loved them. Chris was a very thoughtful individual. Anytime there was a death or sickness amongst his friends or their families. He always found a way to bring them together. He had a very strong love for his friends, Don, Mike, Eric, Bill, and Lindsey. As well as John Human, he was one of Chris's very best friends, they grew up together, went to school together and share lots of memories. Chris will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will always be remembered and never forgotten.

Elizabeth Davis; paternal grandparent Velbren Hedge; his uncles Jerry Gene Davis and Donald Davis.
