Christopher D. Kane

Christopher D. Kane, 63, a resident of North Attleboro for 32 years and formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. He was the beloved husband of Judy A. (MacDonald) Kane, to whom he was wed on September 28, 1991.
Born in Norwood, MA, on March 28, 1961, Chris was a loving son of the late Philip P. Kane and Gail A. (Smith) Kane. He grew up in Mansfield and graduated from Mansfield High School in 1979. Chris was employed for many years as a forklift operator for various companies, including Hatheway & Patterson, Franklin Lumber, and US Lumber, until his retirement in August of last year. He also worked as a driving instructor for Labonte's Auto School.
Chris was an avid reader, particularly enjoying novels by James Patterson and Stephen King. He loved classic rock music and frequently listened to his favorite radio station, 94 HJY. His daughter, Stephanie, recently introduced him to Spotify, which he enjoyed. Chris had a passion for planes and loved attending airshows with Stephanie. Ultimately, he was a homebody and cherished his time at home with his wife and daughter.
In addition to his beloved wife of 32 years, Judy, Chris is survived by his devoted daughter, Stephanie L. Kane of North Attleboro. He was the dear brother of Linda K. Wagner and her husband Scott of Mansfield, and the uncle of Jonathan P. Wagner of Mansfield, Kerri Kane of North Attleboro, and Jaime Kane of Phoenix, AZ. He was also the brother-in-law of Karen Kane of Canton and the brother of the late Philip "Scott" Kane.
His funeral, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, beginning with visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service in celebration of Chris's life will commence promptly at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
