Christopher Marino, 43, of Highland, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 24, 2022. Chris was born on May 28, 1979 in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Chris is survived by his mother Luba Marino; his brother Bobby Marino and wife Rebecca Ryan Marino as well as nephews Tristan and Avery Marino; his sister Larissa Marino and her fiancé Domenico Lopergolo; and his partner Janine Tedesco.
Chris felt the most free when he was outside hiking, hunting, cycling, just enjoying what life had to offer without all the frills. He truly was a Renaissance man and Jack-of-all-trades, excelling at anything he put his mind to. He was smart, kind, and always one step ahead. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend, and his memories and legacy will live on forever.
Calling hours will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, September 30th from 4-7 p.m. Private entombment will be in Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh.

It's been a year since you are gone but I still think of u often and always will
It breaks my heart that you are no longer here but I understand
Life is not fair and I know that all too well
You inspired me to live life and do all I can while I'm still here
No one is guaranteed tomorrow and life is not something I take for granted
Just waking up is a gift
Each time I go hiking or in nature I think of how much u loved it and life
I will see u again one day when my time here is up
And we will talk again

I´m saddened to learn of Chris´s death. I´m reminded at this time to reach out to those people that make small or big impacts on your life, to tell those you love that you love them. Life can be so much shorter than we believe it can be and then we don´t get the chance. Chris reminded me of this light for life and smiling and encouraged me without knowing it to "live"again. May he Rest In Peace and be remembered with love by all who knew him. My sincere condolences to his entire family, friends, and coworkers.
