So long my friend. Cheryl and I will miss your smile. May you hit them straight and long on the golf course in the sky. You will be missed.

Our prayers are with the Metritikas family, we will miss Johns smile as he greeted us with "two?", yes...his pain and suffering is over and his GOD will give him rest. Till we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Sending nothing but healing lovenlight to Mary, John´s children, Pete, Paul, George, the family and anyone that had been affected by the passing of John.
I had the privilege to work for Pete for 8 years at the Blue Dolphin Restaurant. John was in the kitchen harassing us waitresses and us harassing him back especially when he was wrong: lol. John was such a sweet, kind man which especially shined when he meet Mary.
To read the obituary he wrote, which spoke his Truth, tells me he has learned the lessons of life. How Beautiful How Humble. John you now know we are just spiritual beings going through a human experience. Till we meet again, Peace

This is heartbreaking. This family is so special. My heart aches for all.
Pete was my favorite boss ever. He taught me and everyone how to be a good human being and a dedicated employee.
I worked with John at Take A Break and fondly remember that smile and sense of humor.
My sincere condolences to his entire family.
A beautiful obituary. Such a strong person to write his own .
May eternal rest be granted to John.
