Christopher Micalizzi

Beloved father and grandfather, Christopher Micalizzi, 83, passed into the arms of his Lord September 20, 2022. Christopher proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a civil engineer for the NYS Department of Transportation for 38 years. Christopher was an avid fly fisherman, sports car fanatic, and Porsche enthusiast.
He was predeceased by his wife Clara, parents Samuel and Margaret Micalizzi, brother Frank Micalizzi and best friend Pat Mullins. Christopher is survived by his children, Chris Micalizzi, Stephen and Jo Micalizzi, Matthew Micalizzi and Winnie Betzenhauser, treasured grandchildren Antonio and Marina, Emily, Samuel, and youngest grandchild Lilly. He leaves behind many nephews, nieces and close friends.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend Monsignor Michael Meagher 10:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Saints John and Andrew RC Church, 1263 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton. Interment with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family will received friends at the church from 9:00 am until the time of services. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
