Thomas H. Rose, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Wilson Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; his parents, Peter and Helen; two brothers, Robert and Michael (Patricia); and a beloved daughter-in-law, Anne Rose. He is survived by his two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Karen Rose and Mark Rose; 7 grandchildren, Cory (Brittany) Rose, Molly (Andy) Rose-Lindquist, Brian Rose, Victoria Rose, Elizabeth (Ron) Rose, Tracy (Adam) Deming and Valerie (Mike) Mitchell; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Barbara Rose; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, formerly St. Ann's, where he loyally served as a lector, sang in the choir and helped with whatever needed to be done. He was a retired employee of I.B.M. Corp. and worked as "Tool Time Tom" at Lowe's. He was well-known for his woodworking hobby. He will be missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9 at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family is forever grateful to the many wonderful caretakers Tom had at his home, at Vestal Park and during his hospitalizations.
