Riverside - Mark S. Rose,64, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at RI Hospital in Providence, RI. Born on November 23, 1960, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Leonard and Jacqueline (Atamian) Rose, Mark lived a life marked by dedication, humor, and a love for the simple pleasures.

Known for his quick wit and analytical mind, Mark was a man who could always be relied upon for sage advice or a well-timed joke. His wisdom and humor were the light in many family gatherings, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mark's passion for the workforce was evident through his commitment to the steel workers union. For over five years, he was a dedicated laborer at Washburn Wire, where he not only contributed his skills but also formed lasting friendships and associations. His work ethic and commitment to his craft were commendable and reflected his strong character.

After a fulfilling career, Mark settled in Riverside, where he lived for more than twelve years. He was an enthusiast of all things automotive, particularly hot rods and muscle cars. His love for these powerful machines was more than a hobby; it was a way to connect with others who shared his passion. Mark was also a devoted fan of the New England Patriots, and he enjoyed the camaraderie of watching games and celebrating the team's victories.

Mark's interests extended to the simple joy of watching television. He found comfort in the stories and characters that graced the screen, and it was a pastime that allowed him to relax and unwind.

Family was the cornerstone of Mark's life. He is survived by his siblings, Bruce Rose of Florida, Brian Rose and Helen Rose, both of Providence, and predeceased by his brother Leonard R. Rose and sister Patricia Nelson. Mark was a beloved uncle to Jacqueline, Jennifer, Leanne, Brandon, Bruce, and Taylor, and a great uncle to Buster, Riley, Jaden, Jared, Araxi, Drew, Mikayla, and the late Madeline. His role as an uncle was one he took great pride in, and his guidance and laughter enriched the lives of his nieces and nephews.

Mark's legacy is one of laughter, wisdom, and a life well-lived. He will be remembered for his analytical approach to life's challenges, his ability to find humor in any situation, and his unwavering support for those he loved. As we say goodbye to Mark S. Rose, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on our hearts and the memories that will continue to bring smiles to our faces for years to come.
