Born in Trenton, Chris was raised in Columbus, NJ, and resided in Hamilton for the majority of his life.
Chris served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He then went on to work as a boiler operator with American Standard in Trenton for over 35 years.
Chris enjoyed listening to Rock and Roll music, volunteering at St Gregory's annual carnival, and spending time with his beloved German Shephard, Schultz.
Predeceased by his parents, Stewart and Elizabeth, he is survived by his brother, Donald Monk and his partner, Rose McNerney; his brother, Timothy Monk and his wife Pamela; his aunt, Marilyn Kane; his many cousins, including Maryann Froehlich, Virginia Garrish, Nancy Warnick, Ann Kane, and Mary-Clare Warshefski; and his many friends, including his close friends, Jake Sibert and Danny Conklin.
Graveside Services and Interment are private at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Chris's memory to Vietnam Veterans of America by visiting In Memory Of at
Arrangements are under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
