It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher W. Moro announce his passing on October 28, 2024.
Born on July 13, 1967 to Edward and Theresa Moro, Chris was raised in Pearl River, NY, where he graduated from Pearl River High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree of Business Administration from Pace University. From there, Chris went on to work as a Certified Public Accountant for Teich, Beim, and Moro P.C. in Suffern, NY. On May 21, 1994, Chris married Tina Tursi in Dobbs Ferry, NY, and together they raised their family in New City, NY.
Chris will be remembered for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor; but mostly for the unending love and devotion he had for his wife and two children, who were everything to him. He was known for his love of golf, bowling, music, playing softball, and poker nights with friends. He would cheer on his beloved Mets and Jets, no matter how painful. Friday movie nights were a mainstay with the family along with summer trips in the Outer Banks.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Tina; children, Nick and Jesse; parents, Ed and Terry Moro; brother, Eddie Moro (Janet); sister, Liz O'Callaghan (Dan); nephews and nieces; Daulton, Charlotte, Peyton, and Peter; father-in-law, Jon Tursi; mother-in-law, Fran Tursi; and brother-in-law, Joe Tursi. In addition, he leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends, all who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Chris and his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to Meals on Wheels Rockland, 121 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954. https://mowrockland.org/donate/
