Christopher Newton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home and Advance Planning Center from Nov. 9 to Nov. 10, 2021.
Isaiah was born in Richmond, KY, on October 25, 1998. On Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at the age of 23, Isaiah passed from a fatal motorcycle accident.

He spent his early years in Tennessee, his middle school and high school in Arizona, and has been stationed at The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, CA for the past 4 years.

Isaiah came into the world ready to make a difference. His first mission trip was to Mexico when he was 6 months old and he's been adventuring ever since.

He knew no stranger. As a child, he was ever inquisitive, always wanting to make his parents proud. He was a seeker of truth and justice. His early years spent in Tennessee with his grandparents and extended family were some of his very favorite years. It was there that he gave his heart to the Lord with sincerity and was baptized – a day his family will cherish forever.

As he continued to grow he enjoyed drawing, good music, hanging out with his brothers, riding anything with wheels, and of course – shooting stuff. His teenage years were marked with a constant flow of friends in and out of his home.

He graduated High School from Gilbert Early College a semester early, eager to begin his career with the United States Marine Corp. During these years he transformed into a man. His relationship with the Lord was strengthened. He gained another family – a band of brothers to add to his tribe of brothers he'd already gained and gathered along the way.

Isaiah is survived by his parents (Chris and Leah Newton), his brothers Elijah and Caleb Newton, and a whole host of family and friends who love him – too many to name. He lived well, he loved well, and his time with us was much too short. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and camping buddy, Michael Newton. Now they can adventure together!

We will always remember his smile, his goofy dances, and the way he relentlessly picked on you if he liked you (then behind the scenes was checking in on you with compassion). He loved his brothers and his family fiercely. He looked out and fought for the underdog. He was a good friend. And in all his pursuits and battles and angsty moments, his heart always returned to its center – Christ, the Creator, Comforter, Counselor and the only true Hope.
