Christopher Olson, a devoted husband and loving father, passed away on March 5, 2025. Born on March 28, 1977, to Larry and Nina Olson in Ogden, Utah.
Christopher lived a life filled with adventure, love, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. Christopher was a man of strength, known for his kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family. He was a loving husband to Brandy Olson, with whom he shared 23 cherished years of companionship and love. As a father he poured his heart into nurturing his children, Saige and Carter, instilling in them a love for nature and a strong sense of family.
Chris' passion for the outdoors was a defining part of his character. He found solace and joy in hiking, fly fishing and simply being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether it was a weekend camping trip with his family or a solitary trek through the mountains, Chris felt the most at home in the wilderness. He loves to share his knowledge of nature with Saige and Carter, creating lasting memories that they will forever treasure.
Chris will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for his family. Chris had an amazing sense of humor. Dad jokes were his specialty. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chris is survived by his wife, Brandy Olson; his children, Saige and Carter Olson; his parents, Nina and Larry Olson; his brother, Bryan and Jean Olson; his sister, Carol Mortensen; his in-laws, Brad and Tammy Andersen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Lewis 2nd Ward, 435 North Jackson Avenue, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Friday,from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N Washington Blvd, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund donation may be made in Christopher's memory to his family to help with these difficult times. Please Venmo @Brandy-Olson-11.
