Christopher Lee (known by his friends as "Buddy") Passagaluppie, age 62, died on August 10, 2025, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. He was born in Norfolk, VA, on April 10, 1963, to the late Junious Patric Passagaluppie, Sr. and Betty Jean Fletcher Passagaluppie. Buddy served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army during Desert Storm, exemplifying dedication and bravery. After his military service, he continued to work as a cook, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. He loved his family and helped raise his nieces and nephews.

Buddy is survived by his cherished family and friends, including his niece, Dorinda French, and her partner, Robert Ward, as well as his sister-in-law, Donna Lord. He will be dearly missed by his great nieces and nephews, K'Dance Ward, Nirvana Ward, Serenity Ward, and Justin Lord. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; two brothers, Junious "Pat" Passagaluppie, Jr. and Raymond Onley, Jr.

A service with military honors will be held at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Details will be announced here as soon as available.

Buddy's legacy of service and hard work will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
