Christopher Devan Pryor was born July 3, 1996, in Statesboro Georgia to Christopher E. Pryor and Melissia Hodge.
Chris was our sweet and gentle giant. He recieved his formal education in the Bulloch County School System and was a 2014 graduate of Statesboro High School and pursued a few college courses before deciding to pursue gaming full-time. He was known as an amateur gamer and played in several tournaments over the years. As an up-and-comer, he already had sponsors supporting his passion and dreams.
On November 12, 2025, Christopher Devan "King" Pryor entered rest, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, George Pryor of Statesboro, GA.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, father Christopher (Octavia) Pryor of Statesboro, GA, his mother, Melissia (Nicky) Hodge-Young of Statesboro, GA, one sister, Devona Hodge of Statesboro, GA, and two brothers, Tyler Buggs and Dai'mon Young all of Statesboro, GA; his paternal loving and devoted grandmother, Prethenia Pryor of Statesboro, GA, his maternal grandparents, Robert (Doris) Hodge of Statesboro, GA. paternal aunt, Brenda (David) Owens of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and three paternal uncles, Gregory (Vera) Pryor of Florence, SC, Andrew (Jamie) Pryor of Millen, GA, and Brian (Angel) Pryor of Indianapolis, IN; maternal aunt LaKeichia (Diedrick) Lipsey of Statesboro, GA, and three uncles, Robert (LaWanda) Hodge Jr. of Statesboro, GA, Greg (Veronica) Perkins of Statesboro, GA, and Rodrigues (Twala) Tillman of North Carolina; he also leaves behind a host of great-aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends, namely his best friend of many years, Lonnie Cox of Statesboro, GA, a host of other relatives and friends.
