Chris entered this world alongside his twin, Bobby, on September 1, 1979 and grew up in Olathe. Playing in the neighborhood, letting his young imagination run wild were fun times for him! Our family spent some years in Mason City, Iowa where Chris graduated from MCHS and became a follower in Christ. He moved back to Shawnee, KS to live with his maternal grandparents. His mom and siblings returned to Olathe not long after.
His love and devotion to his special needs twin, his sister and youngest brother are very special to him.
He found the love that became his reason for living and breathing, in his children, Olivia (14), Adeline (12) and Joseph (11). His every hope and dream was for them.
Chris was very close to his Uncle John and his loving maternal grandparents.
Over a year ago, Chris began working for Travelers Insurance Company. He had found the perfect place to work and wonderful people to work with.
He passed from heart problems on March 21, 2024.
Chris is survived by his daughters, Olivia and Adeline and son, Joseph; his brothers Bobby, Matt (Stephanie) and his sister, Lauren; his Uncle John Rentko, and his mother, Nancy Rentko/Redick.
He joins his much-loved maternal grandparents in heaven, John and Evelyn Rentko, his father, Robert E Redick, Jr., his paternal grandparents, Robert and Bonnie Redick Sr. and Betty and Loren Keller.
Donations go to Faith Baptist Church, 15285 US-169, Olathe, KS 66062.
