Christopher Scott Smith, 47, of Shelby, passed away at White Oak Manor on June 14, 2023. He was born July 22, 1975, in Cleveland County, to the late George Glenn Smith and the late Vickie Ann Moss.
He loved to build model cars, working diamond art paintings and playing video games. He was a “big tinkerer” and enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars. While at White Oak Manor, he enjoyed playing the piano for the residents.
Left to cherish his memories are his siblings, Angel Hammer (Shawn), Matthew Smith (Nancy), Martena Adams (Holden), Andrew Smith; stepmother, Becky Smith; half-siblings, Jamie Nix (Roger), George Smith (Beth), Susan McAteer (Kenny), Scott Smith (Tress), Holly Smith, Cody Smith (Hannah); nieces and nephews, Piper, Cayden, Paislee, Kolton, Aiden, Emery, and Elizabeth.
Christopher’s Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday June 16, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Scott Hammer officiating.
His family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
The burial will be private.
