CHRISTOPHER GEORGE SMITH

Christopher George Smith, age 40, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Thursday evening, February 5, 2026, at his residence.

No services are planned at this time; however, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later time.

Mr. Smith was born in Bainbridge, GA on Jan. 24, 1986, to George Stephen Smith and Marie Christopher Smith.  He was a truck driver for J C B Transportation and attended New Life at Lake Seminole.  Christopher enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his family.  He had a big heart and was a great son, brother, husband, and father.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carolina Goncalves De Oliveira; his son, Tristan Oliver Goncalves; his mother, Marie Griffin and husband Charles; his father, Steve Smith and wife Teresa; his sister, Christina Monday; and his brother, Matt Smith and Lacey Madden.  Also surviving are numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Marjorie Christopher; his paternal grandparents, Alice Trailer and George Smith; his son, Sylar Cole Smith; his mother-in-law, Maria Das Gracas Goncalves De Oliveira and his father-in-law, Walter Nascimento De Oliveira.
