Redgie Allen Tedder, 77, of Havana, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his residence.
His family will hold a gathering at The Blu Halo Restaurant (in Tallahassee) from 5 until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Redgie was born on June 24, 1948, in Donalsonville, GA, to the late Katie Lee Johnson and the late Hugh Clarence Tedder, Jr. He graduated from Donalsonville High School, Later moving to the Tallahassee/Havana area. He was active in the community. He enjoyed Native American Artefacts, collecting and learning about their history. Most of all, he loved his family and close friends.
He is survived by his son Kevin Wayne Tedder (and wife Terri); his grandchildren, Elaney Chi, Caitlin Tedder, Grayce Tedder, Tristen Tedder, Aaron Vitalec, Carmen Vitalec and Taylor Young. Great-grandchildren Carmen Martinez, Mavrik Lee, Wren Vitalec; and his siblings Lorna Tedder and Robin Tedder
