Christopher Ronald Stafford, born on September 23, 1982, in Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on January 6, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi, carrying with him a life filled with joy, laughter, and a love for sports and family. Growing up in Woolmarket, his early years were marked by his enjoyment of hunting, playing ball, and discovering his lifelong passion for golf. He was a jokester to say the least, able to light up any room with his wit and easy-going nature. His devotion to Alabama sports only grew more intense with age. Whether it was football, baseball, or all the in-betweens, his enthusiasm for his beloved Crimson Tide was infectious. He would often indulge in cooking shows, occasionally trying to emulate the culinary marvels on-screen, though he would insist that such tasks were best left to his beloved Mama. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with family, enveloped in the warmth and closeness only they could provide. Today, as Christopher joins his best friend and Uncle, Dean Hattaway, in heaven's embrace, we imagine them side by side once more, cheering on their favorite Alabama teams. His memory and spirit will forever be celebrated and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Hattaway and Truett Stafford; aunt, Cindy Woodard; uncles, Dean and Clint Hattaway. Left to cherish his memories are his beloved daughters, Bianca and Sadie Stafford; parents, Rick and Linda Stafford; brothers, Patrick (Holly) Stafford, and Josh Stafford; Grandmother, Evelyn Eaves; aunts, Rhonda (Robert) Mick, and Debbie (Bartley) Woodard; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. A visitation will be held Tuesday morning, 10am-11am at Woolmarket Baptist Church with a funeral service at 11am, internment to follow at Woolmarket Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Stafford family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers for the days ahead.
