Ms. Dorothy Wonderful Stafford was born on May 9, 1935 in Evans County, GA to the late Benjamin and Rosetta Stafford. She departed this life on September 1, 2025 after a long illness.

She received her education at the school for the blind in Macon, GA. At a young age she joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Claxton, GA. She played the piano for St. John and various churches throughout the community for many years. She served faithfully until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Mrs. Lou Audrey Hayes, Mrs. Elease Freeman, Mrs. Essie Mae Allen, Mrs. Catherine Lucas, Ms. Margaret Stafford, Mrs. Juanita Mobley, Mr. Benjamin Stafford, Mr. Frederick Stafford and Mr. Virgil Stafford.

Miss Stafford leaves the following loved ones who will forever cherish her memory: two special nephews, Mikell Stafford and Gregory (Candace) Stafford. Nephews Edgar (Cynthia) Freeman, Dennis Freeman, Lamar Allen, Chris (Lazla) Mobley, David Stafford and Ben Stafford. Nieces Linda White, Marion (LC) Wilcox, Susan (Reggie) Delaine, Rozella (Mike) Bellamy, Lisa Smith and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
