Christopher Scott Talley and wife Shannon Nickole Crawford of Greenville went to meet their Heavenly Father on Aug 7, 2023. Their visitation and celebration of life service will be held on Aug 23, 2023 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville with Pastor Jeff Cullen officiating. Visitation will be at 10am, with service to follow at 11am.
Scott will be remembered for his huge heart, smile, and big hugs. He loved his parents, step-daughters, siblings, nieces, nephews, friends, and his gym buddies. Scott and his wife liked to take short trips and to be out in nature. He also loved music, fishing, riding his motorcycle, his pets, and games. Scott was a member of Shilow Masonic Lodge 307 in Lone Oak, Texas.
Scott was born on 3 Jan 1988 to Mary Wolfe of Greenville, Texas. He was a graduate of Greenville High School and Texas A&M at Commerce, graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice. Scott worked in law enforcement.
Scott first met the love of his life in high school but didn't know it yet. He and his wife started dating as adults in 2016 and created a great family environment for the children.
He is survived by his parents; Mary W Gannaway and William S Gannaway Jr; step-daughters, Isabel Ojeda, Lillian Ojeda, and Payton Proctor; siblings, Melissa Gannaway, Michael Gannaway, Melanie Gannaway Patterson and husband Pearson, Anna Satterwhite Strickland and husband William, Katherine Wolfe; and eight nieces and nephews.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents; Bobby Benton & Molly Robertson Wolfe and William S & Frances S Gannaway; and aunt, Marie L Wolfe.
Memorials and donations can be directed to the Freemasons of Texas.
