Chrystal Mariah Combs

Chrystal Mariah Combs, age 44, of Peebles, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at Bethesda North Hospital after a lifetime of showing what it means to be strong, loving, funny, straight forward, and fiercely independent. She was born the daughter of the late Bruce and Vanessa (Clay) Combs on February 12, 1980 in West Union. Mariah was a devoted mother, meemaw, and friend. Known for her unwavering strength, she was a hardworking woman who always put family first. Whether it was a late-night phone call, tending to her loved ones, or stepping up when needed, she did it all with grace and a fierce determination that inspired everyone around her. She showed us how to love deeply and live fiercely. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her daughter, granddaughters, and all those fortunate enough to have experienced her warmth and wisdom. Her biggest joy and purpose in life were her two granddaughters, whom she loved dearly. Chrystal is survived by her daughter, Haley (Robbie) Sizemore of Manchester; two granddaughters, Bexley and Brecken Sizemore; two sisters, Stephanie (Michael) Horton and Jessica Hoop; two uncles, Clinton Combs and Morgan Combs; an aunt, Debbie Hirsch; and best friend, Susan (Joshua) Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Charlie Combs and her grandparents, Rosemary and Delbert Combs. In keeping with her wishes, Chrystal will be cremated.
