Chuck Aubihl

Charles Edward Aubihl, age 92, of New Philadelphia, passed away in Park Village Care Center of New Philadelphia early Tuesday, April 25, 2023, after a period of declining health.
Born in New Philadelphia, Ohio on November 19, 1930. He was a son of the late Charles Emmitt and Ida Florence (Wherley) Aubihl.
On May 7, 1952 he married Mary Lee Wright and together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage before her passing in December of 2014.
Charles was a 1948 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. After high school he began his career at Warner and Swasey. After several years he pursued his passion and became the farm manager for Bambeck Farms, where he worked for over 35 years. He was also a lifetime member of Broadway Global Methodist Church.
Charles is survived by his children; Stephen (Barbara) Aubihl of Marco Island, Florida, Nannette (David) Avon of New Philadelphia, Timothy (Pamela) Aubihl of Dover, Sally (James) Storad of Bolivar, and Thomas (Tracy) Aubihl of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Michael Avon, Josh Aubihl, Linda (Jesse) Farley, Megan Aubihl, Alex (Kelsey) Aubihl, Eric (Kylie) Aubihl, Morgan Aubihl, and Danielle (Kevin) Edwards; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances Rummell.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, William Aubihl.
Friends may call on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Chuck's life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 pm with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow beside his wife at Ridgecrest Memorial Gardens.
