Chuck Christensen

Chuck Christensen, age 89, passed away on Saturday, January 31, at Graham Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held in Oregon and will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Chuck was born on March 25, 1936, in Whitefish, Montana, to the late Axel and Rose (Bengtson) Christensen. He married Gail Grimes on September 10, 1989, in Brooks, Oregon, and they were married for 36 years before his passing. They moved to Texas in 2000, then from Loving, Texas, to Olney, Texas, in 2016. Chuck was a retired member of the Oregon National Guard. He liked to go golfing, enjoyed gambling from time to time, and loved being around people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Gloria Ogletree, and his brother, Fred Christensen.

Chuck is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Gail Christensen of Olney, Texas; his daughter Elizabeth Christensen of Oregon; his two step-sons: Jeffery Freeman of Sublimity, Oregon, and Bradley Freeman with wife Colleen of Red Lodge, Montana; his step-daughter Patricia Cadenhead of Loving, Texas; his sister Carla Healy of Sweet Home, Oregon; his five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way.
