Chuck McFarland Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Thomas McFarland, age 62 of Montello passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Chuck was born in Watertown to Joseph and Evelyn (Hildebrandt) McFarland on December 13, 1961. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1979 and married Katrina Roberts on October 7, 1989. Chuck moved to rural Montello and was a longtime and faithful employee of Penda in Portage.
Chuck loved the outdoors, especially fishing, boating and camping. He also thoroughly enjoyed riding his Harley as well as snowmobiles. Chuck was a gifted mechanic and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for helping others.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 34 years, Katrina and two daughters: Sharlene (Sebastian Gruber) McFarland of Oshkosh and Alisha McFarland of Montello. He also survived by two siblings: Karen (Jack) Hoefer and Joseph McFarland, sister-in-law, Fran McFarland as well as several other extended family members.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Brian and Timothy and sister-in-law, Lodean.
A Celebration of Charles McFarland’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at Good Old Days, W995 W North Shore Dr, Montello. Private family inurnment will take place at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in Watertown.
