Private Family Funeral Services Will Be Held. The Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.
Memorials: May be made to the Chuck Seley Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Charles Walter Seley was born on August 24, 1961, the son of Wilbur and Betty (Shehan) Seley in Greenfield, Iowa. He passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Unity Point-Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 63.
Chuck grew up in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1979. After graduation he went to work at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa where he worked for over 30 years and later worked for Delta Dental of Iowa. He lived in Greenfield until 1997 when he moved to Waukee and later Urbandale. He enjoyed traveling, knitting and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ron Lundy.
He is survived by his two sisters, Virginia Hitt and husband Jake of Greenfield and Linda Hess of Mesa, Arizona; other relatives and friends.
