Doris Seley Obituary
Doris Irene Seley, 77, of Elkton passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her home under hospice care.
Doris was born June 9, 1946 in Dallas, Oregon to the late Glen and Josephine (Brill) Yenglin. She graduated from Laker High School and married her high school sweetheart John Seley in 1964. Affectionately known as Grandma Heidi, she was a homemaker all her life and worked harder than most people with two jobs. Her devotion to her husband and family was ceaseless.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband John; their children: Stacy (Kurt) Eile, Mark (Sherry) Seley, and Wendy (Rueben) Ramirez; grandchildren: Janell (Izzi) Herrera, Brittany Eile, John Mitchell (Barb) Eile, Adriana (Tyler) Barriger, Olivia Seley, Ellie Ramirez, Emmanuel Ramirez and 8 great-grandchildren: Colton, Amelia, Isabella, Kurtis, Adalee, Masie, Everlyn and Oakleigh. Also surviving are her brothers Marvin (Suzie) Yenglin and Neil Yenglin; sisters-in-law Susanne (Sal) Kanaski, Janet (Frank) Ellicott, Carol (Ray) Caverly, and many nieces and nephews. Ready to greet her in heaven are her parents, sisters Elaine Turner and Vivian (Dick) Smith and an infant son Jeffrey.
Private graveside services will be at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Pigeon. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
