Cindi Lu Benthall

Cindi Lu Benthall was born January 14, 1957 to Lester and Vocille Benthall in Cushing, Oklahoma on a freezing cold day. She entered heaven on February 17, 2024 at the age of 67.
She grew up in Cushing and graduated Cushing High School with the class of '75. She enjoyed working summers at Taylor Boats constructing and testing the speed boats. Cindi loved going with her dad doing electrical work on oil pumps. She enjoyed many years of camping and skiing with family and friends at Keystone Lake and Heyburn Lake in her early years. Later, Gore became a second home while enjoying her own boat on Lake Tenkiller.
She attended the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in health and recreational management. She then began her long forty-year career at USA softball where she enjoyed many years of being manager of empire sales and developing close friendships with her customers. She was very artistic and creative. She loved drawing, painting, woodworking and leatherwork.
As many of us know, her positive attitude, outlook and strength, helped her fight her battle with cancer. Cindi was one of a kind. Once you were her friend, you became part of her family.
Cindi is predeceased by her parents Lester and Vocille Benthall. She is survived by her sister, Freda (Rick) Bradshaw, niece Jill (Tyler) Magsamen, Ryan (Chelsea) Bradshaw, and five great nephews; Hudson, Ben and Duke Magsamen and Brody and Ramsey Bradshaw. She is also survived by many dear friends and her dog, Gracie.
The family especially wants to thank Caring Heart Caring Hands for their devotion, love and support for Cindi. They would also like to thank Companion Hospice for their tender and loving care.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Cindi will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in the honor of Cindi may be made to the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org/
