Cindy Lynne Doolan, beloved wife, grandmother, and friend, passed away suddenly on January 15, 2024, at her Brazoria home. Born on August 30, 1957, in Conroe, Texas, Cindy was a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of countless people.
Cindy dedicated many years of her life to working in various Brazoria County schools as the "Lunch Lady." With her hard work and determination, she worked her way up to become the supervisor of the food program. Her commitment to providing nutritious meals for the students was commendable and made a positive impact on their lives.
When she wasn't busy with work, Cindy loved to indulge in one of her favorite hobbies – shopping. Whenever she stepped foot into a store, you would find her browsing through the collection of purses. She had an undeniable passion for collecting purses and took great joy in expanding her collection.
However, Cindy's true source of happiness came from the relationships she built and cherished. Her family always described her as someone who had no enemies – a testament to her loving and compassionate nature. She genuinely loved everybody she met and had an incredible ability to make friends everywhere she went.
One of Cindy's proudest accomplishments was being a devoted mother. She adored her son Russell with all her heart. The love she had for him knew no bounds. In addition to Russell, Cindy had a wide circle of family and friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband David L. Doolan, her mother Elvie Evon Sydow, and her precious grandchildren Nicholas and Sydni. She also leaves behind her son Russell Lopez and his wife Sarah Jean Sunshine of Aurora, CO. Her siblings include Pamela K Steel and her husband Douglas of Huntington, TX; Larry N. Sydow and his wife Kathy of Katy, TX; Garland Douglas Sydow and his wife Andrea; and Marcus W. Sydow and his wife Kim, all of Lake Jackson, TX. She is also mourned by her sister-in-law Tina Phillips and her husband Vernon of West Columbia, TX, and sister-in-law Janet Wells and her husband Mike of Houston, TX.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Reginald Garland Sydow and sister-in-law Teresa Doolan Kramer. Their memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
