Cindy L. Roen, 62, of Fond du Lac, died on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at St. Agnes Hospital with family by her side. She was born on June 29, 1962, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Donald and Shirley (Schaefer) Bell. On June 29, 1985, she married James Roen at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. Cindy was a former member of Church of Peace. She had various jobs over the years working at Mercury Cafe, Water’s School in food services, Taco Johns, and Save-a-Lot. Cindy was an ordained minister who officiated many weddings. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, especially making blankets for newborn children, making gift bags, and playing bingo. She liked her dogs, Petey (who preceded her in death three weeks earlier) and Baby. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Sandra (Troy) Stahmann; three grandchildren, David Foote, Donald Foote, and Lorra Stahmann; brother, Ricky R. (Janet) Bell and Ricky’s son, Christopher; four brothers-in-law, Dale, David (Cheri), Ronald (Shannon), and Michael Roen; stepbrothers and stepsisters; Pattie (Lee) Dorn, Bob (Janet) Elsinger, Brad Elsinger, and Fuzzy (Arlin) Bakken and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Bell and Shirley Bell-Elsinger; father and mother-in-law, David and Gloria Roen; daughter, Lorra Roen; son, Jason Roen; former husband, Francis “Buster” Elsinger; and stepbrother, Herky Elsinger.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
