Cindy Lou Wright, age 74, of Fowler, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 in University of Michigan Health – Sparrow Carson City.
The daughter of Stuart and Arlene (Conley) Smith, Cindy was born on October 15, 1950, in St. Johns. She married the love of her life, Michael Wright, in 1969; together they welcomed 4 beautiful children: Spencer, Stacey, Michelle, and Melissa. Cindy liked to keep busy and was always happy to either go to her job at Harvey's in Carson City or take part in one of her many passions. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, and working in her garden. More than all those combined, Cindy loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Left to cherish Cindy's memory are her husband Michael Wright; children Spencer (Melissa) Wright, Michelle Wright, and Melissa (Aaron) Hetherington; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother Jeff Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stuart and Arlene Smith; daughter Stacey; brother Barry Smith; and sister Wendy Buonodono.
A private graveside service will take place in Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Cindy's name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org).
