Claire Rita Pellerin, 82, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at Hackett Hill Healthcare surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester, Claire is the only child of the late Alfred and Grace (Boisvert) Labarre. A lifelong resident of Manchester, Claire married the love of her life, George Pellerin, in October of 1969. Three years later, the couple was blessed and overjoyed to welcome their miracle baby and only child, Lisa Ann, who, coincidently, was born on Claire’s birthday in September 1972. Claire was a dedicated mother and homemaker, who reveled in motherhood and fiercely adored her daughter.
Before retiring in the mid 00’s, Claire worked as a preschool teacher for many years at St. Peter’s Home Childcare Center in Manchester. Claire took great pride in her work and absolutely adored the children she taught, even holding on to every little appreciative gift or card that her students gave her. Later, she worked as a CNA at Bedford Hills Center and then Hanover Hill Healthcare Center.
A devoted wife, mother, memere, and friend, Claire’s family was paramount in her life. She cherished quality time spent with family and friends at family functions and holiday gatherings. Claire couldn’t help but spoil her grandchildren, and then later her great grandsons, who brought so much levity to her life. She enjoyed visiting local lighthouses and watching the tall ships sail in when they would come to port. She also loved weekend girls’ trips to Wells Beach and going shopping and out to eat with her best friend, Wendy. A kind and humble woman, Claire enjoyed quiet evenings on her porch completing Thomas Kinkade puzzles and coloring books. Claire will be best remembered for her kind and caring heart, and dedication to her family.
Claire is survived by her granddaughter, Kara Gillingham and partner Justin; two grandsons, Ryan Camberis and partner Jennifer, and Cory Camberis and partner Jolynn; two adoring great-grandsons, Steven and Mikey; son-in-law, Michael Camberis; and dear friend, Wendy Robins. In addition to her parents, Claire was predeceased by her husband, George Pellerin, with whom she shared 32 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2001, and her beloved daughter, Lisa Camberis (Pellerin).
