Claire Vergot Obituary
Born on February 27, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Louise Zvonar.
Beloved wife of the late William D. Vergot.
Loving mother of Barbara (David) Kuhn, Adrian (Erin) Vergot, and Christina (Scott) Fremer; Grandmother of Miriya Cianflone, Ashton, Gage and Payton Fremer, Synclaire and Karsyn Kuhn.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is proceeded in death by infants Michael and Daniel Vergot.
Claire was proud of Croatian Heritage, former member of Duquesne University Tamburitzans (1957-1961) and Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 541. She enjoyed the many travels with husband as a military wife. She was ever so thankful for the love and many accomplishments of her children and precious grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11 am at Encore on the Lake, 243 McDowell Lane, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tamburitzans or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My deepest sympathy to Claire's family.
Claire and I became good friends soon after my arrival to the States. She helped me adjust to my new home. I am so sad, and she will always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace dear friend.
