Claire Cipriano, 99, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Adolph "Rudy" Cipriano. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Sandro and Emma (Bianco) Torelli.
Clarie worked for AT Cross in Lincoln for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Sons of Italy, Manton Seniors, Sal Mancini Senior Center, Johnston Senior Center, and the Cedar Springs Senior Center.
She is survived by her four children, Joyce Roberts, Elaine Paolo, Vincent Cipriano and his wife Jean and Reverend Mr. Anthony Cipriano and his wife Lorraine; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of the late Raymond Paolo and the sister of the late Michael Torelli, Florence Stern, Celia Torelli, Michele Torelli, Joe Torelli, Alex Torelli and Celia Troya.
Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire's memory may be made to: National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Rhode Island Chapter, 205 Hallene Road, Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886.
