Clara Clutts Obituary

Marie was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her faith and family were very important to her. She loved sunflowers and unicorns and was an avid reader. Marie collected craft supplies and enjoyed playing cards and games. She spent many hours talking around the dining room table with her iced tea and cigarettes. She will be dearly missed.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents: D. M. Sanford and Clara Hammontree; sister: Bonnie Roberts; and step-father: Clem Hammontree.
She is survived by her companion: William Watkins of Kermit, TX; daughter: Elizabeth Sellars and husband Michael of Kermit, TX; brother: D. M. Sanford Jr. of Faywood NM; and grandchildren: Amanda Sellars, Bryleigh Sellars, Corbin Sellars, Willow Sellars, and Colby Calhoun.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Kermit, officiated by Dudley Mullins and Ed Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be D. M. Sanford Jr., Larry Roberts, Michael Sellars, William Watkins, and Ronnie Roberts.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor and condolences may be sent to the family at www.fs-fp.com.
