Clara Bell Easley was born January 29, 1930, in Pulaski, IL to the union of
Aldophus "Dossie" and Laura (nee Turner) Foster. She was the youngest of
13 children. Clara attended Bannaker School in Pulaski, IL and acquired a
special talent for learning to play the piano by ear at home. She used this
special talent to sing in church, to her children, to her grandchildren and
many others for many years. Clara accepted Christ at a very early age and
believed in speaking and teaching the Word of God most of all. She
LOVED the Lord and she LOVED her children.
Clara also took care of many extended family members and friends as
Nursing was one of her passions. She was very dedicated to her Nursing
career. She enjoyed working at St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo, IL, and Union
County Hospital in Anna, IL for 19 years.

Clara was united in holy matrimony to Caleb Easley Jr. on August 7, 1948,
and they remarried in 1998. Caleb preceded her in death in 2011. To this
union, eleven children were born. Six preceded her in death which
included, one son Lee Otis Easley and two daughters, Flossie McDonald

and Laura Royston-Warren. One granddaughter, Jaime Easley and two
great grandsons, Lavonte Glasper and Jaquavion Mackins. She is also
preceded in death by her 12 siblings.

Clara departed this life Sunday, October 12, 2025, at her home in Peoria,
IL, surrounded by family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories
three sons and two daughters. Gregory (Stacey) Easley of Newburgh, IN,
Lester Easley Sr of Port Orange, FL, Harding Easley of Colorado Springs,
CO, Fannie (Clyde) Marable of O'Fallon, IL, Carolyn (Danny) Miller of
Peoria, IL, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and
six great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives
and many friends including Pearline Cooper, Evangelist Sister Marva
Clemons, Sister Shirley Woodard and Kenneth Hamilton.

Services for Clara Bell Easley will be held on Friday October 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm at St. John Praise and Worship Center in Pulaski, Illinois. Pastor Dr. Apostle Larry T. Barnett, Sr will officiate. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Garden in Villa Ridge, Illinois. Professional Services and Care have been Entrusted to Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, Illinois. Online condolences may be left at massiefuneralhome.com
