Life Reflections

Mary Ann Wiggins affectionately known as "Mae" age 57 of Cape Girardeau, Mo formally of Ullin, IL was born October 6, 1967 in Chicago, IL to the parents of Mary J.(Nelson) Wiggins and Theodus Wiggins. Mary accepted the masters call on September 24, 2025 at her home with her loving family.

Mae lived in Chicago, IL, from 1967 until 1994. She later moved south to Ullin, IL, where she resided from 1994 until 2008. She then relocated to Cape Girardeau, MO, where she spent her remaining years. She worked at Jonesboro Development as a caregiver for eight years. She attended Medgar Evers Grade School and Bowen High School. Mae was also employed at the Lutheran Home as a CNA for six years and at St. Francis Medical Center as a cashier for five years.

Mae enjoyed doing hair and going shopping. She loved taking her grandbabies, Ayjha and Remii, on special outings. When she wasn't spending time with her grandchildren, she cherished being with her sister, Meechie, and her daughter, Lucky, as they relaxed together and shared their favorite drinks.

Mae is preceded in death by her parents; Theodus and Mary Wiggins and her sister; Terryn Wiggins.

Mae is survived by her children; Franchon (Kevin ) Anderson, Luckya Brown and Danasia Pierce all of Cape Girardeau, Mo, her grandchildren; Amiya Brown, Ayjha Trice and Remii Evans all of Cape Girardeau, Mo, her sister; Michelle "Meechie" (Michael) Kellum of Cape Girardeau, Mo , her brothers; Eugene Jones of Memphis Tn. and Daniel "Boone" Jones of Randcliff, Ky, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Graveside services for Mary Ann Wiggins will be held on Friday October3, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Green Lawn Memorial Garden in Villa Ridge, IL. Visitation will be Friday at the Massie Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm .
