Clara Lebak

Clara Lenore Lebak, 91, of Chesterfield NJ was welcomed into the loving arms of her savior on June 12th, 2024, she was born November 26, 1932 in Plainfield NJ.
Clara is survived by her cherished sisters, Isabelle Flanagan and Hildegard Tamutus, as well as her beloved children: Marian Shivers (Stephen), Gregory Lebak (Katherine), Stephen Lebak (Joanne), Allan Lebak (Angel), Barbara Gilbert (Brad), and Wayne Lebak (Christina). Her legacy extends through her 15 adored grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and countless spiritual children.
She joins in eternal rest her devoted husband of 44 years, George Lebak, and her dear parents, Thomas and Clara Hans along with her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Lebak.
Clara was a long-time member of Celebration Community Church of Bordentown, NJ, formerly New Jerusalem Church.
Known affectionately as "Mama Clare," Clara was a beacon of unwavering love and bound-less care. She nurtured hearts, tended souls, and radiated warmth to all who crossed her path. A dedicated farmer, devoted wife, and endlessly loving mother and grandmother, Clara's presence was marked by her fierce dedication to prayer and her infectious laughter. Her legacy of love and joy knows no bounds. Clara's love was expressed through her culinary creations, her selfless service, her tireless volunteerism, and her heartfelt prayers. Her faith in Jesus Christ permeated every aspect of her life.
In fond remembrance of Clara, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at Word of Life Christian Center, 2840 Monmouth Road (Route 537) Springfield, NJ 08041. Visitation will be held at 10:00AM followed by the memorial service at 11:00AM.
In honoring her memory, interment will be a private gathering for immediate family only, a tender moment to bid farewell to a woman whose love knew no bounds. In lieu of flowers, gifts of remembrance could be graciously given in Clara's name to Celebration Community Church, PO Box 140, Columbus, NJ 08022.
