I heard this song today thinking of you Mrs. Verlain and I thought that I would share it.

She's somebody's hero
A hero to her mother in a rockin' chair
She runs a brush through her silver hair
The envy of the nursing home
She drops by every afternoon
Feeds her mama with a spoon
And that smile lets her know
Her mother's smile lets her know
She's somebody's hero

I only had the pleasure of knowing Miss Clara for a short time in the beginning of my work at RCC-West Point but I enjoyed every moment I got to spend with her and I will miss her greatly. I'll never forget her beautiful smile.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Verlain and Bill:
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Of course, I have not seen "Miss" Clara in a number of years, but still remember her wit and humor when we were all in Graniteville.
Surely, you will miss her, as she has been with you for such a long time. You were blessed to have her for this extended time.
