Houston---Clara Maybell Tutor Brassfield Snell, 76, passed away at her home in Houston, MS on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Born September 2, 1948 in Houston, she was the daughter of the late Worne Tutor and the late Mozelle Tutor, of Pontotoc County. She was a seamstress at the Glove Factory in Houlka, MS for many years. After that, she married and moved to Grenada, and she lived there for 28 years until her husbands passing in 2018. Then she bought a tiny house from her son and moved by him and his family until her passing. She was a member of Pearson Chapel Church of the Nazarene. She loved her friends from the church and her Sparta Opry friends. Up until getting down, she was an avid walker on the Tanglefoot Trail. She would walk up to 3 miles a day, and she never met a stranger while walking. She would talk to everyone she met on the trail. Maybell was a devout Christian, and she loved the Lord with all of her heart and soul. She told her family she was ready to take that journey home. She knew when the time came where she was going, and she was prepared to go. She loved her four sons and daughter-in-laws so much. Her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were the loves of her life. Maybell loved spending as much time as she could with them.
Maybell was loved deeply by her family and friends, and her memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.
