Clare Mary Frain, 73, of Rochester, MN passed away on December 11, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus.
Clare Mary (Buckley) was born on Dec. 16, 1950 in Yonkers, NY to parents John and Phyllis Buckley. It was in Florida that Clare met the love of her life, Michael Frain. The couple were married for 44 years before Mike passed away in 2016. Together they had four children, Stacey Christensen (Kelly), Michael Frain, Jr. (JoEllen), Elizabeth Mangan (Mike), Meghan Graham (Jeremy), and 11 grandchildren (Lily, Eva, Leo, Michael III, Jack, Lizzie, Cullen, Gabby, Michael, Logan and Liam). Clare is survived by her sister, Ceil Stanley Rozelle; brothers, Jackie Buckley, and Bill Buckley; and 16 nieces and nephews.
Clare was a loving mother and wife. Later in life, she managed the Hallmark Store at Apache Mall where she loved decorating for Christmas. Clare will be remembered by all of her friends, and her love of a good card game.
Services will be held at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home (5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN) on Saturday, December 14. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 12 Noon. Immediately following Memorial Service, please join the family for lunch and fellowship.
Burial will follow lunch at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org.
