Robert L. "Lynn" Frain, 70, of Kiski Township, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 11, 1954 in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late Lawrence Russell Frain, Sr. and Louella May (Bobberts) Frain.
Lynn was a coal miner for many years until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Union.
Lynn enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and tinkering with just about anything. In the neighborhood his was referred to as, "Bob the fix-it man"! He cherished spending time with Boo and Izzy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, George and Clarence Frain, Bernice Bowser, Opal Clawson, Mona Dunmire, and Yvonne Painter.
Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Claudia (Wysocki) Frain of Kiski Township; children, Maria L. (Edward) Hall, II of Apollo, Robert L. Frain, Jr. of Kiski Township; grandchildren, Edward M. "Boo" Hall, III and Isabella R. "Izzy" Hall; siblings, William, Larry, Donald, and Lawrence Frain, Althea Blystone, Ida Dooler, Caroline Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
At Lynn's request there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 100 Owens View Ave. Apollo.
