Clarence "C.J." Johnson, age 57 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on January 21, 2025. He was born December 7, 1967 to Clarence and Patricia in Pemiscot, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by wife Oshan Johnson, who he married March 04, 2016 in Dallas, Texas; daughter, Dominique Johnson, Jennah Johnson, bonus son, Patrick Mahonski and wife Kasse, bonus daughters, Oshyanna Hinrichs and husband Kaleb, and Dayanna McDade; mother, Patricia Johnson; sisters, Angela Johnson, Sheridan Elliott; brother, Howard Johnson and wife, Georgette; honorary parents Filmore and Essie Gregory; grandson, Jacien Martinez, and bonus granddaughter, Annie Hinrichs; in-laws Patricia and Ralph Jones; cousin, Reginald Johnson and close friends, David McDade, Brandon Gutierrez, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
C.J. was employed at Highland Park United Methodist Church and Etech and was a lover of many things from traveling, to experiencing a plethora of cultures, to pop culture through his caring and accepting nature. He was a friend of many, including his wife's zoo of animals. His love for video games and Anime kept him pretty occupied. He was not only a great husband, grandfather, father, and son. He also was a hard worker that took pride in any job he did, always making sure his family and friends were taken care of. Despite him moving on from this life, he lives on through his impact and his spirit within all of the friends and family that he has left behind.
Special Thanks given to Highland Park United Methodist Church and Rev. Cottrell King.
