Clarence R. Turner born August 19, 1933 of Suffolk VA passed away on June 21, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sarah Turner; sisters, June Riddick, Winifred "Snooks" Holt, Violet Harrell, and Della Sue Abbott.
Clarence better known to most as Redell, was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. Redell retired from the City of Suffolk after 35 years of service. Redell loved his family and would do anything for them. He worked hard all of his life and he kept a clean yard. He loved to go fishing and visiting with family. Redell was a kind and loving man. He was the best brother, uncle, friend, and dad like figure we could ever ask for. We will truly and deeply miss him.
He is survived by brother, Jerry C. Turner (Estelle); niece, Shelia L. Turner "His Pumpkin" (William); nephews, Keith C. Turner and Gary A. Turner; great nieces and nephews, Jessica Keeter (Frank), Dale Everett, Taylor Everett, and Blake A. Turner; great-great nieces and nephews, Carly, Madison, Brody, and Maverick; and sister, Florence Gayle.
A burial at Holland Cemetery will take place privately. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Downtown Suffolk Chapel is serving the family.
