Clarence Wheeler Obituary
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2022 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Memorials may be made to the family to be distributed to Ed's favorite organizations.
Ed was born June 27, 1936 in Morris, a son of Russell Vernon and Helen Wheeler. He married Paula J. Greathouse on July 20, 2004 in Streator. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Jim (Kim) Wheeler of Florida, Jody (Kevin) Kuball of Kentucky, Jef Wheeler of Colorado, Laurie (Sam) Evola of Morris and Russell Wheeler of Florida; step-children, Mike (Kristen) Majercin of Virginia and Peg (Bernie) Kennedy of Streator; two brothers, James E. Wheeler of Marseilles and Russell "Ccorky" Wheeler of Florida; and a sister, Rita (Donald Shank) O'Neal of Marseilles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Dick and Bill Wheeler.
Ed was an Operating Engineer working out of Local #150. He last worked for the City of Streator.
He had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to fly airplanes and work on his tractors. He always looked forward to the Thresherman's Reunion every year.
